BFW’s Favourite 3!
As the 2nd biggest city in the UK, Birmingham is full of great places to spend your day and night. From excellent shopping complexes to trendy bars – a trip to Birmingham is guarenteed to give a great time. We’ve done the hard work for you and put together a list of our top 3 places must visit destinations during your trip!

RESTAURANTS/BARS
A city filled with different cultures and nationalities, Birmingham has cuisine for everybody to enjoy. Whether looking for fine dining or just a snack, the city plays host to some of the best restaurants in the country, representing 27 nationalities. As well as many familiar restaurants, a quarter of the city is devoted to our speciality Asian cuisine – The Balti Triangle.

This upmarket venue has a great variety of cocktails, champagnes and ice cold beers. Located at the top of the renovated Royal Mail sorting office at The Mailbox, Malmaison provides a great atmosphere and is the perfect place to relax and unwind in style after a busy day.

Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar & Grill
With great food, tasty cocktails and brilliant 360 degree views of the city, the Marco Pierre White Steakhouse provides the ultimate dining experience. The stylish bar and restaurant has a great atmosphere to enjoy the company of your friends and family.

SHOPPING
Birmingham is home to tons of great shopping and leisure complexes. Whether you are looking for great value or ultra chic boutiques– we’ve got it all. Here’s a list of our favourite places to shop.

Bullring Shopping Centre
This shopping and leisure complex is home to 160 of our favourite high street shops and restaurants – including Selfridges and Debenhams. It is brilliantly located in the heart of the city centre and has great transport links with Birmingham New Street train station just a two minute walk away. This glamorous shopping centre really is the place to shop till you drop!

The Mailbox
The Mailbox is a stylish shopping and lifestyle destination situated in the centre of Birmingham. It is home to some of fashions favourite designers such as Harvey Nichols, Hugo Boss and Emporio Armani. With waterside restaurants, cafes, bars and salons there are a variety of things to keep you entertained during your time in Birmingham.

The Jewellery Quarter
Dating back 250 years, around 40% of the UKs jewellery is made in Birminghams Jewellery Quarter. With around 100 specialist shops featuring unique handcrafted jewellery, watch and clock designs you can be sure to find something to match your taste.

The Electric Cinema
Why not tie in a trip to the cinema with your visit to Birmingham International Fashion Week? The Electric Cinema is the oldest working cinema in the UK dating back to 1909. Instead of your typical popcorn cinema treat they offer a variety of handmade cakes, ice creams and savoury snacks to enjoy during your film. As well as cinema style seating there are also sofas which you can relax and watch your film on. You can even text the bar your drink and snack orders!

Cadburys World
Cadburys World is the place where chocolate comes to life! Take a tour of the famous Cadburys factory and learn all about its history and production methods. You can also visit the world’s biggest Cadbury shop and stock up on chocolate for the rest of the year! With plenty of fun activities and history this is something fun for all ages.

Birmingham Hippodrome
