That's right it's just two more sleeps until the biggest fashion event in the midlands Birmingham International fashion Week 2014 officially begins! This Friday at 7pm, at the gorgeously glamorous Banqueting Suite in Victoria Square, all fabulous VIP fashionistas will be welcomed with an amazing glass of champagne from Maurice Vendome, as well as a sultry red carpet, ready for guests to flaunt their best looks!

Everyone lucky enough to have got their hands on a fabulous VIP ticket will be receiving a gift bag full of amazing beauty goodies, such as samples from the amazing Vita Liberata Tan. With celebrity fans such as Erin O'Connor and Geri Halliwell, the tan is sure to be your best friend during the coming summer months. The team from Vita Liberata will also be available during Fashion week to offer free exclusive spray tans! Your amazing gift bag will also contain prizes from the stunningly sophisticated Beyzancases. After taking your seat, you will be treated to a truly amazing catwalk show, bought to you by stunningly stylish presenter Frankie McCamley, who will introduce you to designers from all over the world! Koyawo London will be kicking off the show on Friday, followed by a fabulous make up master class from our backstage make up team, MLA. They will have you looking just as flawless as our catwalk models in no time! Following catwalk shows from Khloe Nova, Textures Fashion and House of Borgezie, Miss Birmingham will be available to answer all of your burning beauty questions! Designer Nina Naustdal will round off proceedings on Friday night before you get the chance to win some amazing fashion prizes in our Raffle Prize Draw.

Saturday promises to be just as, if not more exciting and fashion fabulous, with our catwalk show kicking off with the exotic Rad Fashion. Shows from Chateau Boutique and Chloe Nova follow, with the chance in between to really seek out some fashion connections! On both Friday and Saturday night we will be hosting a Fashion networking event, giving you the chance to talk to bloggers, designers and fashion professionals about working in the fast paced fabulous fashion industry! Saturdays show will also include the amazing designer Sofia Dourvari, fresh from London Fashion Week, the Greek designer will be showcasing her fabulously sleek and sexy designs. Throughout Fashion week, our showroom will be open that will have a variety of even more fantastic designers and fashion retailers, showcasing accessories and vintage finds that will complete your stylish ensembles!
Finally, as Fashion Week draws to a close, kick off those skyscraper heels and join us at our exclusive Fashion Week After Show party at Bushwackers, Birmingham, before making your way to a luxurious stay at our sponsored hotel Hotel La Tour!

ITS OFFICIALLY BIRMINGHAM INTERNATIONAL FASHION WEEK

This weekend Birmingham International fashion week is officially here packed full of amazing designers, stunning collections and of course fashion fabulous people! If you love fashion then you have to be here for an amazing weekend, were as well as witnessing a plethora of stunning pieces strutting down our catwalk you will receive a fantastic VIP treatment along the way complete with a fantastic gift bag!

We are excited to announce the appearance of many well renowned designers to our city from all over the world, bringing their collections specifically for all of Birmingham's fashionistas to see. Designer Sophia Dourvari will be exclusively showing her knew collection for the second time at Birmingham International Fashion week, following her recent show at London Fashion Week, her show is set to be show stoppingly elegant. Designer label Borgezie will be exclusively showing thier collection of gorgeous Jewelry designs as well as stunningly glam pieces from Nina Naustdal who's collections range from Bridal to couture pieces. High end Bulgarian Fashion designer Khloe Nova will be also adding to the elegance of Birmingham International Fashion week, showing her mix of unique, sophisticated and extravagant style in her colourful collection!

In between all of the catwalk action bought to you by presenter Frankie McCamley, Miss Birmingham and Miss Jamaica will be visiting Fashion week to answer all of your burning beauty questions, plus if you are a beauty fan be sure not to miss all of the tips and tricks from our backstage team from MLA make up who will be hosting an exclusive make up master class. Our back stage hair team from the Francesco Group will also be recommending that best hair colour for your skin type and the team from Vita Liberata will be offering sultry spray tans, so you yourself can be as catwalk ready as our fabulous models.

As well as all the brilliant designers and a range of amazing guests, Birmingham International Fashion week is also host to a collection of companies and designers that will be showing their collections in our exclusive showroom. The exquisitly quirky vintage What Alice Found will have thier fabulous vintage goods on show with a mixture of vintage items and clothing, for those of us who adore a one of a kind, timeless look. The stunningly fab Sparkle by Shalgani will also be exhibiting thier array of amazing accessories in our showroom, giving you everything you need for a red carpet worthy ensemble! We are also honoured to have revolutionary make up company HY-BRD, showing thier fantastic make up range for mixed race skin in our showroom, ensuring your skin is just as fabulous as your look!

Finally, for those Carry Bradshaw's among us who love nothing more than an gorgeous pair of shoes, Argentinian designers Tango Leike will be featuring their sultry sexy heels that are sure to have you set for dancing the night away at our Birmingham International Fashion week after party!

Birmingham International Fashion week is officially less than 10 days away and with all the excitement surrounding London fashion week this week ,we can't wait to see all of the fabulous designers showcasing their new collections on our catwalk, as well as offering exclusive treatments to our guests from our sponsors and our talented backstage teams! We're dying to see the fabulous ensembles you guys put together for this years fashion week, and sure that you will even rival Kate Moss on the front row!

So what can you gorgeous fashionistas expect at this years Birmingham International fashion Week? With one of our fabulous VIP tickets you will be greeted at Banqueting Suite, Victoria Square with a champagne reception provided by Champagne Maurice Vendome, and a glamorous red carpet, to really flaunt your most fashionable ensembles!

In between shows, our backstage hair team from the award winning Francesco group will be offering exclusive skin tone analysis from thier experienced colourists, to really find the colour to enhance your look! You can even brighten up your winter skin as the team from Viva Liberata will be offering exclusive spray tans throughout the event!

OUR CITY WITH HOTEL LA TOUR

Our bustling city of Birmingham will this month be bought to life with fashion fabulous designers from all over the world as it plays host Birmingham International Fashion Week 2014! With everything from must see museums to a fabulous array of high street shopping, our second city is often overlooked for it's fantastic attractions!

Over the weekend of Birmingham International Fashion week, why not take all the fabulous fashion inspiration you receive and take a look at all of the glamorous shopping locations around the city! Whilst staying at our sponsored hotel Hotel La Tour, you are in the perfect reach of the cities must have shopping locations. Hotel La Tour is located perfectly behind the humming Bullring Shopping centre, containing all the high street stores any fashionista could need to look gorgeous for Fashion week! FAB VINTAGE FROM WHAT ALICE FOUND AT BIRMINGHAM INTERNATIONAL FASHION WEEK 2014

Vintage Dorset company What Alice Found is owned and managed by vintage enthusiast Nicki Grainger! After studying for a degree in fashion journalism, and diplomas in both marketing and professional styling, Nicki launched her vintage wonderland to showcase her collection of vintage paraphernalia and share her passion for styling by launching her very own creative styling agency.

Nicki hand selects her vintage items from all over the UK, Europe and Los Angeles and brings them home to her fabulous Pop up shop based on the Dorset coast! Nicki's love for collecting unusual items has even led to her home being photographed by fashion magazines showcasing her eccentric styling. After being known for her love of collecting and being nicknamed Alice in Wonderland by her friends and family, the name sake was born!

Nicki herself is a stylist and has dressed theatre productions and styled a number of high profile photo shoots, that have provided the base for her creative styling agency that she currently runs along side What Alice Found!  

Nicki has earnt tremendous recognition for her fabulous vintage inspired window dressing and visual merchandising skills in store and beyond, as well as staging many photo shoots from London to Paris! What Alice Found's celebrity fans include Pearl Lowe and ASOS.com and she has recently received a nomination in the National Vintage Awards 2013.
